Yesterday we finished unit 3B, and we also did two readings (click on here; food and "olympiads")and a cloze text.

Here you are the links I told you; have a look at them when you are writing, since that's the best way to learn those structures.

With a view to the exam...

Hi there!

First of all, a very "nice" irregular verb list (including pronunciation), if you click on the verbs you will find some examples.

Here you will have some extra materials in order to revise all those points we have seen in class since we started. You will find that most of them are games to play, so I think it is an interesting way to study the contents on your book. Remember, you have to press Ctrl + click to activate the link.

See you in class!

Have you seen these men?

Here you are, this is the listening we did last day. Listen to it carefully and read the transcript where I have underlined all those structures I have found interesting.

You can also try this exercise before reading the transcript.

14th January Lesson

Hi there!

Last day we started to deal with "appearances", pages 40 and 41 on your books. We learned some new adjectives included in the Vocabulary bank section, and exercised our "ears" by means of some listenings where some people were described. Next monday we will continue with the text on page 42-43, so please, read it at home. We will finish unit 3B (including the workbook) and we'll spend next week revising all those questions which may be considered as "problematic" with a view to the exam.

Remember, you have to choose your partner for the oral test... who are you doing it with?? tell me next day...

12th January lesson

Hi everybody!

This post is addressed to those who didn't come to class yesterday.

Firstly, we were talking about the January/February exam. You have some relevant information about this included in the previous post. The Oral test will be in pairs, so chose your partner and tell me next day, otherwise I will do it for you. Those days, try to be there 5 minutes in advance.

Regarding the lesson, we finished unit 3A.

Here I include some materials we've been working on about technologies. A cloze test and a text about Facebook. Please, remember to ask me for the photocopy on computers.

Your homework, both the READING section on page 40 and the VOCABULARY (including the vocabulary bank) pg.149.

See you on Thursday!!
