8th April Lesson
Hello everybody!!
Last day we began by checking the "quicktest" you did before hoidays. Then, we started with unit 5, talking about the work-life balance and practising the pronunciation.
Regarding grammar, we were revising the "quantifiers" (much, many, few, little...do you remember?). Please, go on to pg 138 (Grammar Bank 5A), read the rules and do the exercises. If you find any problem, just tell me. Have a look to the Pronunciation section, it is very important!
Homework; reading on pages 70 & 71, as well as the vocabulary section and the Gramarr bank 5B on page 138.
That's all! Remember to bring your writings (flat, book and film) next day, ok??

A funny film to watch this weekend...
Hi there, here you are a funny movie to watch this weekend... enjoy it!!
The plot: Marion is a French-born photographer living in New York City with her neurotic, hypochondriacal, chain-smoking, heavily tattooed American interior designer boyfriend Jack. After a markedly unromantic trip to Venice, which was planned to re-ignite the passion in their relationship, they take a night train to Paris to pick up Marion's cat from her parents and decide to stay for two days. Jack is startled to learn Marion has remained in contact with numerous ex-lovers and becomes increasingly uncomfortable due to the language barrier and a multitude of his girlfriend's old flames he keeps meeting. Meanwhile, Marion wrestles with her own insecurities about love, relationships, and her impulsive nature.
